Chris Brown is the CBC News correspondent based in London, UK. My family and I moved here in 2021 after four years as the CBC’s Moscow correspondent. While there, our CBC team travelled from the Arctic to the Caspian Sea; from the Baltic enclave of Kaliningrad to the far eastern city of Vladivostok. We’ve also been tear gassed in Hong Kong, travelled to Islamic State bastions in central Syria, and filed from inside the Chernobyl red zone. In the last year or so, we have spent a lot of time covering Russia’s war of aggression on Ukraine. Prior to moving overseas, we lived in Vancouver, BC where I was a National Correspondent for CBC TV, CBC Radio and CBC.ca. This is a blog about the stories we’ve done and the stories behind the stories.
