Dubai is full of Russians

Posted on November 28, 2022November 28, 2022 by chris.brown

Dubai isn’t for everyone’s taste but it is clearly heaven for many Russians. Denied entry into Europe, the United Arab Emirates is instead capitalizing with enormous numbers of visitors from RU. Some fled at the start of Putin’s war on Ukraine; others came after the mass mobilization call up; and yet others simply arrive for holidays. During the recent school break, the beaches were full and hotel lobbies were full of Russian chatter. Ukrainians of course can’t take such holidays anymore, and its hard to listen to the sounds of Russians having fun as their country’s military inflicts horrendous losses on the Ukrainian people.

Near the Burj Al Arab the beaches are full of Russians.
Tour boats in the marina area are packed with Russian visitors.
